Great product. Love the voice sensor option. Very happy with this purchase. I wanted to add 5 stars to the review but for some reason the system is only letting me add 1. Hmmmm. Anyway – we are very happy with this purchase – value for money and good quality.

Unlike the other reviewer, the monitor still picks up the white noise even when I put the setting on sound activation. The setting works for maybe 2 mins. and then once the baby makes a noise and starts up the monitor, it just stays on, even though the baby is no longer making noise. I personally don’t like the sound activation setting anyway b/c when it turns on and off it makes a clicking noise which in itself is distracting to me.
The other problem I have with this monitor is that it beeps a lot for the “range alarm”. We have tried so many positions and it still does it. I think it does it b/c our baby moves a lot in the crib and gets further and further away from the monitor so when she makes a smaller noise, the monitor can’t pick it up very well so it just beeps the range alarm instead. Needless to say, this beep is rather annoying, especially when you’re trying to sleep.
So the bottom line is that I can not use this monitor at night. I only use it during the day when baby is napping and I am doing things around the house. I have never tried any other baby monitors, so I can’t comment on how this compares to other ones. I got this one as a shower gift. My impression is that this one is on the pricier end of baby monitors.

Perhaps this is a defect that doesn’t generally happen with this monitor, but we just got ours a couple of days ago and we can’t get the battery to charge. I think we’re going to return it but get the same model. Reviews for this model have been generally positive, and not just on Amazon. So, we’re going to give it another shot. If our next set works better I will update this review.

I hate this monitor. It is 20 feet from my child’s room yet it constantly beeps that it is out of range. The beep is so loud and annoying and it’s allllll night long. I’ve tried plugging both parts into to other outlets but have had no luck. There must be something in our house or neighborhood that causes interference.

I bought this product as a gift for a friend who is about to have a baby. The item was on her registry at a major retailer, and I was originally going to purchase the item from that retailer. But I found the item on Amazon. com for a cheaper price, and although I ended up paying a little bit for shipping, I still paid less than what I would have through the other retailer with shipping included. Also, the other retailer could not guarantee that I would get my item on time (for the baby shower). I received this item very quickly through Amazon, and my friend is very happy with her gift.
