I had to return this item because I couldn’t hear my son over the speaker. My son doesn’t cry when he wakes up, and it seems that is the only sound this monitor will pick up. This monitor was excellent because it didn’t pick up any interference at all, but I need to be able to hear my baby. I was incredibly disappointed, and returned it after two days of receiving it.

We’ve been using this monitor for over four months now and we are really satisfied from our purchase. The connection is perfect with no static and the reception is very good even if you have very thick walls. Onle little improvement area: The AC adapters. They work only on 110V, making it impossible to use this product in Europe, unless you buy an extra AC adapter from the country you are travelling.

I bought this to monitor my son who has extensive medical needs. I need a monitor where I can hear each breath he takes no matter how quiet it is, and this does not do the job, I really can’t hear his breathing at all unless he gets very noisy. I also need something loud enough to wake me up if he has a problem, and to hear anything on this monitor, you have to put your ear right up to it. Perhaps it is because the thing tunes itself to the sounds his pumps and things make that it can’t pick him up, but the battery runs down in just a few hours even though it isn’t doing anything useful to us. I’m getting rid of it as soon as I can!!

The baby monitor worked great for the first 11 weeks. Very clear reception, able to walk outside and have no interference or static. I turned the monitor on today and it just doesn’t turn on. Unfortunately I will have to return this item.

Clear reception, far reaching, and my favorite, the walkie talkie feature. The only thing I don’t love is the volume on the parent unit. It is barely audible.
