The laugh of the day! I’m 61 and still use a baby monitor! But not for the baby, lol. For me, so if anyone can hear in my house at night since I live alone!
Well, my baby is 2 years, 9-15-07 and still have the baby monitor in her room! I use it at night, but not for a nap! I am a protective mom i guess! I will stop using it when I’m ready! It’s not hurting anything with it is there!
Hmm, so hard when he did not need it. My mother looks at my niece on the night and she just got a monitor so she can determine the Real Fake vs cries more easily. I do not think it’s an age thing – more of a location thing. If you are going to be away from your room or in the backyard. . . . stay that way.
I only had the monitor when I was down and were up – I thought at night if they needed me bad I cried loud enough for me to hear, and I did not want the monitor in my room to hear each breath and round . Once my daughter turned 2 1 / 2 or so I stopped using it completely, but she was coordinated enough to get out of bed and come down if you really really need something.
My son is 18 months and still use one in your room. He recently started sleeping in the bed of their “great” and so I put a security gate at the door of his house to prevent sneak into the kitchen garbage in the middle of the night! jajajaUna time I feel that is old enough for me to remove the baby gate at his door, then you will most likely stop using the monitor as well (as it will be free to come to our room if needed)
My friend has a 7 years and have a house divided. . His room is upstairs and your child is below. . . She has a margin hidden under your bed so you can watch as they are on separate floors.
Hi, my daughter will be 2 to 16 December and will continue to use the baby monitor all night just keep using it until you feel comfortable and confident enough to not use it I think are fantastic going to keep using our until I ‘m sure it needs more than we listen to our son 10 years of age to see if hes awake when I should be sleeping lol good luck xxx
Never once used one! My kids are across the hall from me and I like PING awake at any little noise they make.
I’ve never used a baby monitor. I left the door open and mine too, and as a mother will automatically get a keen sense of sound that gets better when you become pregnant so that you are prepared for parenthood when the baby comes, I always heard and knew when they were awake.
I always say that a baby monitor in the home are welcome. . . theres no age, even at three in its nice to know if they leave their beds. (could be the paint on the walls) Nice extra security.
I have never used uno.Créame, at 17 months, totally hear if he needs you.
I stopped using it after 6 months, but that’s only because it broke – the crib is in our room anyway.
Hello, my son is 18 months and sleeps in a toddler bed and has been in a toddler bed since he was 14 months old, have a baby gate swings open it cannot leave your room if you would wake up. and trust me youll know when you wake up because it is at the door and let you know that is up. When I went to sleep we just put him in his room at times it’s going to mourn, but you can give him is go get in bed and sleep. I think you can stop using the baby monitor and try to put it into a toddler bed trust me once you do worry habit.
